Anna’s Mint-Maple Popcicles

Our friend Anna shared with us this summer sweet treat she created. It’s a tasty way to stay cool on a hot summer day!

 

Ingredients:

1/3 cup maple syrup (more or less, to taste)
1/2 cup chopped fresh mint
3 cups water

Method

Pour 3 cups of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add 1/2 cup chopped mint and 1/3 cup maple syrup (more or less, to taste). Remove from heat. Cool. Let steep in the refrigerator for 1 hr to overnight.

Strain mint leaves out of liquid, then pour liquid into popsicle molds and freeze.
